Window maintenance: simple steps for durability

Quality joinery lasts for decades, but a few simple actions, once or twice a year, extend its life and keep it working perfectly.

Recommended routine

• Clean the profiles with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a non-abrasive detergent (no solvents)
• Lubricate the hinges and locking mechanisms with fine-mechanism oil once a year
• Treat the seals with glycerine so they stay elastic
• Clean the drainage channels at the bottom of the frame once a year
• Remove the protective film within 3 months of installation
